The Owner

                    

Dana Davis, owner of TattleTails Dog Grooming in Pocatello, has over 30 years of Professional grooming, training and dog showing experience. She began her long time passion for dogs as a teen in the 70’s. She competed and showed dogs in both obedience and conformation.  Dana instructed obedience classes for the Northern California Dog Training Club. She took her first grooming position in Northern California, and specialized in patterns and hand scissoring. Dana spent a short time away from the dog world while she served in the United States Army.  After her time in the army, Dana returned to the her passion in the dog world.

 

Once returning to Dog Grooming, Dana began a breeding program and showed in conformation once again, while working as a kennel manager in Northern California.  Shortly after, she moved to Idaho and began doing obedience and training a dog in tracking.   She worked for a professional dog handler, doing brush-outs for their client’s coated toy breeds to keep coats in show condition. She also cared for their dogs and clients dogs while they traveled to dog shows.  Dana started breeding and showing Japanese Chins 3 years ago and has recently moved and opened TattleTails Dog Grooming in Pocatello.
